TATA International Internship Programme 2007, May - July, India

My first trip to India. I secured my internship to India in September 2006. There is no particular strong reason why I have chosen India. Maybe, it's the next dragon after China with it's large young population. Most importantly, I heard good feedbacks from previous interns.

The internship experience was wonderful and I was very fortunate to be attached to Tata Chemicals (TCL). TCL has the most structured internship program among the Tata companies.

Benedict (3rd year, Economics, SMU) and I was posted to a chemical plant in Babrala, Uttar PradeshMy Our project was on the project financing and profitability analysis on the expansion of the plant. Babrala is a small village which is considered among the most backward in India.
